Buddh-oh!: Unveiling the Mystery of Buddhist Art

Most people believe that Buddhism is centered on a man and a noun, when in fact it is grounded in an event and a verb. This tour pulls back the curtain on one of the world’s oldest religions to reveal why.
Our journey will follow the unfolding of Buddhist art across Asia—beginning with a meeting of Persians, Greeks and Aryans in the ancient kingdom of Gandhara, before spreading across all of Asia. Along the way, we will explore how the many branches of Buddhism found distinct artistic voices while sharing a common spiritual core.
This tour isn’t about worshipping figures in stone, it’s about recognizing the spark of insight that lies in all of us.
